Trauma recovery

← All Offerings

Trauma recovery can involve tending to what happened to you, understanding how you adapted, and noticing what those adaptations ask of you today. Patterns that once helped you maintain safety, connection, or belonging may now make it difficult to honor your needs, trust yourself, or respond freely.

Drawing on her professional training in Compassionate Inquiry, developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, Jen Hurst offers a compassionate space to explore the relationship between your lived experiences, core beliefs, emotions, and bodily responses.

Together, we bring curiosity to what arises in the present, allowing understanding and possibility to emerge at a pace that respects your capacity.

Areas of focus include early relational wounds, attachment patterns, shame, self-abandonment, codependency, boundaries, and the protective strategies that shape your relationships.

This work supports recognizing your needs, developing self-trust, and building the capacity to stay connected to yourself during difficult experiences.

Depending on your needs and readiness, sessions may incorporate somatic exploration, grounding and orienting, gentle breath awareness, bilateral practices, and parts-informed reflection influenced by Internal Family Systems. These approaches can support processing and integrating difficult experiences while exploring the meanings and responses associated with them. Consent, pacing, and your ability to pause remain central throughout.

This is ongoing, collaborative work, with time to practice and integrate what emerges between sessions. Sessions are billed hourly and available in Southern Utah, or online via Zoom.

Jen is a non-licensed holistic practitioner. Her work offers trauma-informed personal development and integration support and does not replace licensed mental health care, diagnosis, or treatment.
