ABOUT

Welcome to The Sovereign Den,
Jen Hurst has a private practice where she works as a Trauma Recovery Practitioner, Enneagram Educator, BreathWork Facilitator and Psychedelic Integration Specialist. She uses a unique psychotherapeutic approach to trauma healing that draws upon over 25 years of personal and professional study in the field of personality theory, relational dynamics, mental health, trauma work, IFS, CBT and non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Her trauma informed credentials span a spectrum of philosophies and disciplines. As a Non-Traditional Practitioner, she prides herself in her specialized 'top-shelf' training. Her professional Enneagram training was completed through The Narrative Enneagram and has been taught by some of Enneagrams most esteemed veterans such as Helen Palmer, Marion Gilbert, Peter O'hanrahan, Leslie Hershberger, Dr. Beatrice Chestnut and Ian Cron to name a few. The most comprehensive trauma reprocessing training was under the direct mentorship of Dr. Gabor Maté in his global graduate level Compassionate Inquiry program. Jen is passionate about the mind+heart+body connection which led to further certifications in Somatic Therapy and Processing with Dr. Peter Levine and Dr. Deb Dana. She has completed trainings in CBT, Bi-Lateral Stimulation and Reprocessing and IFS through Dr. Dick Schwartz. She is a certified Reclamation Breath facilitator, a rigorous Holotropic Inspired BreathWork approach and has now facilitated 100's of private and semi-private Breath Ceremonies (4 hr sessions). She credentialed through IPHM, a member of ONAC and continues further education when available and necessary.
She is the owner and founder of Everyday Enneagram, a private trauma trained coaching practice founded in 2019, where she facilitates 1-on-1 consulting, teaching, speaking, mentoring and integration. She also has done a fair amount of business presentations using the wisdom of the Enneagram as a tool for better understanding of self and others. She is passionate about helping people learn their innate patterns, habits and mechanisms that consciously and unconsciously drive behavior, thoughts and feelings. The constant in all her work is a strong undercurrent of ideology surrounding personal sovereignty, as she believes this is part of her life's work as well her professional zone of genius. She is eager to help her clients utilize useful tools to discover who they truly are, help embolden them with courage to confront their unconscious shadow and find hope and healing. As they discover and witness the wounds that have kept them bound, they ultimately befriend the exiled parts, and begin witnessing the wholeness of their truest self and reclaim personal sovereignty.
Besides all that Jen is passionate about, she is also deeply passionate about her life at home as a wife, a mother to 7 (6 sons, 1 daughter, 3 daughters-in-law) and a grandmother to 4 (1 on the way 2026).
