SOMATIC & EMBODIMENT WORK
Your body has been listening all along.
Jen Hurst is a somatic and embodiment practitioner, supporting adults in nervous-system regulation, grounding, movement, and mind-heart-body integration. Somatic work meets what thinking alone can’t reach, the patterns, protections, and wisdom held in the body.
Sessions are trauma-informed and consent-based. Where appropriate and always with consent , work may include grounding, movement, breath, physical support, and direct body work. This is somatic exploration in service of embodiment, awareness, and choice; it is not massage, physical therapy, psychotherapy, or medical treatment.
WHAT SESSIONS CAN INCLUDE
- Somatic exploration and embodiment practices
- Nervous-system awareness and regulation
- Grounding and movement
- Consent-based physical support and, when appropriate, direct body work
- Mind-heart-body integration
IN PERSON
In-person BreathWork or Somatic Facilitation is offered in person or on location (travel expenses may be incurred).
Because this work is embodied by nature, sessions involving physical support happen in person.
Most other one-on-one personal development, Enneagram education, and integration work is available nationwide via Zoom . All intention setting preparation work as well as integration post any BreathWork or Somatic Facilitation, can easily be done wherever you live.
